I have created my account. How do I upload my files?

Your files must be uploaded via FTP. You will use the username and password you provided during registration. The FTP server address would be http://username.hd1.in.

Can I change the name (URL/Address) on my account?

No. We recommend registering a new account.

I have created my account but still see an error page. Why?

You will need to upload your files to your account via FTP. Make sure you name your home page (main page) index.htm or index.html.

I've lost my password. What do I do?

To retrieve your password, please click here.

I've uploaded all my site files but still see the Under Contruction page. Why?

Please make sure that your main home page file is titled index.htm or index.html.

Does HDFree support ASP, PHP, CGI, etc?

Currently, HDFree does not support any other language files except HTML, CSS, and image files. For support of ASP, PHP, CGI, and other languages please check out our premium hosting services.

Does HDFree support databases?

Currently, HDFree does not support databases. For database support please check out our premium hosting services.

Can I use my own domain name?

No. Currently, you must use http://username.hd1.in to access your site. For domain name support, please check out our premium hosting services.

Can I store my images here?

Using HDFree for storing images is strictly prohibited. All files must be accompanied by a website. We recommend Flickr or PhotoBucket for picture storage.

Is there a limit to file size?

Yes, we have a 1MB file size limit on all uploaded content. For no restrictions on file size, please check out our premium hosting services.

Is there a limit to bandwidth or webspace?

No. You have unlimited webspace and bandwidth.

Will you place any advertisements on my website?

No, we will not place any advertising content on your website. From us or our partners.

I am not able to access my music, video, or executable files. Why?

HDFree does not support any other file type except HTML, CSS, and Image files. Please take advantage of our premium hosting services for support on these file types.

I am not able to link these images on another site. Why?

This is called "hot linking" and we do not allow this.

My account was deleted. Why?

If your site was deleted then there is a great chance that you have violated our terms of service.

My question was not answered, how can I contact you?
